We are truly a blessed generation. God has chosen to reveal Himself to us through things hidden in His Word for centuries. Now He is revealing to all Mankind the long overlooked presence of The Lampstand of God's Purpose. We are doubly blessed by the fact that He has chosen to re-establish the role of the scribe in bringing forth this Light to the World after some fifty generations of silence. (See here.) This web site will attempt to do justice to both of these wonderful treasures that The Father has hidden for this generation to discover. You will be blessed.

Over and over, just beneath the surface of the Scriptures, lies the Lampstand of God's Purpose. From Genesis to Revelation, this same Simple Seven Step Process occurs remarkably often. What follows here is a partial recounting of some examples of this process. Some are rather subtle. Others will leap from the page in clarity. The wonderful aspect of these Seven Steps is that God always Initiates the process and Establishes His Purpose in Step One. Then, through each succeeding step in the pattern, He moves toward Rest in His Accomplished Purpose in Step Seven. Each step is meant to draw us closer to Him. Jesus walks between the churches of Revelation in just this same manner.

The Seven Steps have lain dormant, escaping man's notice for centuries. Now, with the revelation of the symbol of the Lampstand, all kinds of wonderful insights come to light. Perhaps the most exciting and convincing of the Seven Steps is always the Fifth Step. This step, in every example, is always defined as the AWAKENING Step. For impact and for importance, that step is highlighted in the examples that follow. Very often this is a SPIRITUAL AWAKENING.

There is ample evidence in the Scriptures that God tells time in "Generations". He has reserved these things for this generation. This is the fiftieth generation since the birth of His Son Jesus, the True Light of the world. ( 40 years x 50 generations = 2000 years ) If you were born after 1960, please do not leave this web site without experiencing something very special that God wanted you to know about His Purpose.

Seven Churches, but One Lampstand

The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, contrary to the Churches' best intentions, is not merely an "add-on" that we Gentiles opportunistically tack onto our individual doctrines when it seems to fit our needs. No, this wonderful Book is nothing less than God's awesome and spectacular "Grand Finale" event of the age. Far from being an "add-on", it is in fact the means of insight (Dan. 12:3, 4) which explodes into ALL Scripture, Old Testament as well as the New.

Moreover, it is the very messages to the Seven Churches (Rev 2 & 3) which taken together form the Lampstand of God's Purpose so spectacularly. Jesus Himself traces out the same seven step pattern as He walks between the individual Church Lampstands. His individual messages to the Churches outline the same reliable seven step pattern that God has employed since the foundation of the world.

To be sure that the viewer is able to identify the pattern clearly, we will enumerate the seven steps here. The fifth step is highlighted because it is always the AWAKENING Step. The Third step is almost as startling. It represents a SEED of small beginning, usually something to do with the WORD.

The Lampstand of God's Purpose Comes Forth

GOD:

1. Ephesus: INITIATES (calls or establishes His purpose)

2. Smyrna: SEPARATES (sets aside for His purposes or cleanses or sanctifies)

3. Pergamum: PROVIDES A SEED (of small beginning, usually by His word)

4. Thyatira: PRODUCES AN EARLY HARVEST (in season and in the Fullness of time)

5. Sardis: AWAKENS (stirs, proclaims, makes aware)

6. Philadelphia: REDEEMS (restores or completes)

7. Laodicea: RESTS FROM THE TASK (having accomplished His purpose on earth as well as in Heaven)

Amazingly, this same seven step process appears over and over again throughout Scripture. Spiritually, the lamp stand that we are depicting in this Web site represents the same lamp stand that stood in the Holy Place in the Jewish Temple.

That lamp stand featured seven cups containing olive oil (Think Holy Spirit) and did not feature the "candles" that we've added here for editorial purposes.
