Immediately following the Pauline letters in the Bible lie about 42 or 43 pages of Scripture which span the Books of Hebrews through the end of the Book of Revelation. For centuries the Church has managed to pick and choose from these valuable Books with little or no lasting damage. However, God had our generation in mind when he inspired the writing and assembling of this final part of His Word. Examine now the Lampstand of God's End Time Purposes (Note how often the mention of "Last Days" occurs, including Heb1:1, 2).

1. INITIATES: God introduces three huge concepts in Hebrews. Jesus' Priestly Ministry, Harden Not Your Hearts, and an urgency that Time is Running Out. All three are of immense importance to the Jews and those Gentiles in the Harvest at the End of the Age.

2. SEPARATES: The Book of James is all about separating from previous life styles and value systems and also persevering under trials and testing.

3. SEED/WORD: First Peter is full of the doctrine of small beginnings, including the revelation that the prophets of long ago were actually serving us now. The Gospel being preached by the Holy Spirit (Ch 1:10-25).

4. EARLY HARVEST: 2nd Peter tells us that we have been granted His precious and magnificent promises even in a world that denies Him. ( Read all of Chapter 2 & 3.)

5. AWAKENS: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John are all written that our joy might be complete, and that we might realize that we can walk in the truth, even in the days of Antichrist. Truth appears 28 times in these Books, the highest concentration in the Bible. The Holy Spirit has led us into all truth, in agreement with the water and with the blood. (1st John 5:4-12) Hallelujah!

6. REDEEMS: Jude depicts the same awful world conditions as described in 2nd Peter. However, we can expect to "snatch some out of the fire". Very likely this will be fulfillment of Zech 3 including Jewish remnants.

7. GOD RESTS: As we said at the outset, The Book of Revelation is God's "Big Finale" of His Completed Purpose for the redemption of man and the end of the age.
